The name Intuition tells how engraving and colourings are the result of improvisation and not bound by rules, such as the irregular placing of the decors on the surface which derives from the instinct of the moment and the chemical reaction that enamel undergoes during firing, as if the ceramic, thanks to the distinctive process, has acquired the capacity to generate multicoloured pictorial signs.

It is inspired by Jackson Pollock’s drip paintings that the American artist, leader of the Abstract Expressionism movement, created at the end of the 1940s, by fixing the large canvases on the floor and dripping colours drawn directly from the jar over them. Intuition, with its colourful castings, are the result of the high temperature firing, and born from a joyful creativeness.
